Epilepsy-related deaths remain common, especially in young adults, say researchers

A major national study – the Scottish Epilepsy Deaths Study (SEDS) – has revealed that potentially avoidable epilepsy-related deaths (EPRDs) remain common, particularly in young adults, and that the rates are not falling over time.
